Why is Valerie Velotta so respected within her community and the escrow industry?

Twenty-eight years of successfully closing escrows is just the beginning. Since 1980 our business has dealt with 3 major real estate and mortgage slumps. Only the real "possibility thinkers,” who could see a way to bring buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders together and facilitate a closing, survived the market.

Known in the industry as a wonderful trainer, Valerie has a knack for teaching good escrow practice to anyone willing to learn.  Her instincts as a mother to six children have served her well as a supervisor, office manager, and now owner. Her grace and mercy shine through everyday whether she is helping one of her employees, or a client that needs help getting through the natural stress of buying or selling a home.

Knowledge, experience, and service are great words to describe an escrow officer, but along with possessing all three of those, Valerie combines an attitude of gratitude that comes from her heart and soul.

"Fostering the relationship between an escrow officer and their client is the most important aspect of my job" said Bob Fox. Selling a retail product is quite different from what we offer at Escrow Leaders. Our product is the service, knowledge, and personality of an escrow officer, and we take pride in delivering satisfaction.

Understanding the needs and desires of a client and customer is where it all begins. With 18 years in the escrow business, Bob understands that insight and the ability to help a customer realize what he or she needs is very important. It all starts with listening and asking questions, even the tough questions.

With over 30 years of sales experience, including three years as Director of Marketing for Slotline Golf Europe, where he established a home in St. Andrews, Scotland, Bob brings a different perspective to the escrow industry. Adapting to changing markets and meeting the wide variety of needs of different clients is not unlike adapting to and meeting the differing needs and cultures of the European community.

Bob's frank approach and ability to get to the heart of the matter is refreshing. His positive reasoning and his attitude of gratitude ring through in the motto of the company brought to life by Robert Greenleaf, "Good Leaders must first become Good Servants!”

As a former Navy veteran, Julie began her escrow career in 1987 as an escrow assistant and became an escrow officer in 1991. She considers herself fortunate to have worked with many respected and knowledgeable escrow officers to gain the vast experience needed to perform her duties in the field of escrow.

In her current position at Escrow Leaders, Inc. she handles a full service escrow desk processing Residential and Commercial Resales and Loans. Julie strongly believes in providing the best service possible with integrity, enthusiasm, and a positive and caring attitude.

 
Lisa Mckeown

Lisa McKeown has lived in Southern Orange County for 37 years and has worked in the escrow industry for over 16 years. She began her escrow career working as an assistant for Valerie Velotta and believes that she was trained by the best.

Prior to entering the world of escrow, Lisa worked in the title insurance industry for 7 years. Understanding the inner workings of the title business gives her an upper hand in quickly and effectively solving title issues which may arise during a transaction.

Lisa prides herself in being proactive, not reactive. She stays in constant communication with her clients and strives to keep her files one step ahead. In the current market of Short Sales and Foreclosures, Lisa’s natural desire to be detailed and extremely thorough has proven invaluable.

Jill Escalante has been in the escrow industry since 1981 in the South Orange County area. She started as a Receptionist and advanced in her career as an Escrow Assistant.

Beginning in 1983, Jill has worked as an Escrow Officer for 22 years.  She works on resale, refinance, and Short Sale transactions.

In 2007, Jill joined the team at Escrow Leaders. She takes pride in customer relations and strives to make her clients number one.


 
 
Adela Velotta

Adela Velotta loves closing escrows. The elation she experiences when helping a buyer get their home, and listening to the joy of a seller receiving their cash, or perhaps finally getting out from under a short sale, is remarkable. Ultimately, Adela really aims to please buyers and sellers.

Adela began her career as an assistant on a busy national refinance desk. Learning the ins and outs of closing sales all over the country was a blessing.  Working on such a busy desk helped her learn how to get things done and handle several files at the same time, all while maintaining reason and understanding.

Now with several years of experience, Adela’s knowledge of Short Sales, Equity Sales, and Refinances has strengthened her skills. There is not a single challenge that she considers unachievable. She will overcome almost any obstacle to ensure a file gets closed.


 
Bonnie Brown

Bonnie Brown has been in the escrow industry since 1987 in the Southern Orange County Area. She started as an Escrow Assistant working on Bulk Sales and went on to Resales and Refinances, eventually becoming an Administrative Officer for 12 years.

In 2003, Bonnie had the opportunity to become an Escrow Officer, and with the years of experience behind her, was able to become top producer of her escrow office within a short time.

In 2008, Bonnie joined the team at Escrow Leaders. She handles Residential and Commercial Sales and Refinances, with a specialty in Hard Money Loans. She is appreciative and fortunate to have her assistant, Lauren, who is also very efficient and resourceful. Together they make a great team.

When you choose Jackie as your escrow officer, you will be working with an experienced officer who can be best described as meticulous. You will always be "in the loop", as Jackie is a big proponent of regular status reports, and is always available by phone or email.

Jackie Jones is a Senior Escrow Officer with over 21 years of experience in Resales, New Home Tract Sales, Foreclosures, Short Sales, Exchanges, and Refinances. Jackie prides herself on delivering the highest level of service. She understands teamwork and is committed to going above and beyond to ensure that every facet of the escrow process is handled quickly and efficiently.

Jackie is devoted to handling business to meet your needs. With over 26 years of escrow experience, Tari Coleman can do it all. As a second generation escrow officer working for her mother, Tari honed her skills during some very tough markets. During the previous downturns in the market, Tari learned the keys to creative financing and is very capable of handling and drawing escrow instructions for AITD and Land Contract transactions.

Tari is a resident of Dana Point for the last 19 years and she knows her way around town and understands the local real estate market exceptionally well. As a previous owner of an escrow company, Tari has a unique perspective on the industry and can truly identify with agents working on commission and more importantly, the entrepreneurial buyers and sellers.
